Just pointing out that making a gimmicky 4ws that lets you make supertight u-turns and negotiate packed japanese streets isn't apples to apples with what Nissan incorporated onto the Z.
How can you possibly say it wasn't utilized well in the Z32, when it puts the car into a whole 'nother echelon of handling prowess? There is nothing that even remotely supports that thinking. And many reputable automotive journalists 18 years ago said the contrary.
